When we first planned our retreat, we found other cabin rentals with cabins that were only 30 feet apart. We planned our retreat with a layout to provide our guests with as much privacy as possible, with some of our cabins separated by as much as 1/4 mile to give a more private and relaxing getaway. We are just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Estate (We have ticket packages!), river rafting, mountain golf, and so much more. Log Cabin Lookout - Our newest cabin, one bedroom with loft and reading room! Uniquely decorated with Zach's owl collection. A beautiful flower box in stone outside the cabin creates a lively entry. A large deck the length of the cabin with an outdoor hot tub and gas grill is the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying your evening on your rocking chairs.
Treehouse - What a wonderful cabin! Nestled in the trees overlooking two small trout ponds, this private cabin's setting places you right in the treetops. It has a huge great room, side deck overlooking the lower pond with a hot tub and gas grill... full lake access is a short 150 yards away.
Log Cabin Retreat - This cozy log cabin sits close to a waterfall and gentle flowing brook. Complete with living room, fully equipped kitchen and master suite. Large covered deck with grill and hot tub, full access to the lake and nature trails. This Asheville cabin is perfect for a honeymoon getaway.
Larger Cabins
Bear Lake Lodge - This is our largest property and sits overlooking our private lake with dock and beach area! Comprised of the 3-bedroom Mama Bear upper level and the master bedroom suite and game room of the Baby Bear lower level, together they can accommodate 10+.
The Lodge includes amenities such as two massive stone fireplaces, leather furniture, hand-carved log furniture, oriental carpets, antiques and rustic period pieces. The master bedroom deck overlooks our private lake with stocked trout fishing. Other Asheville cabins amenities include a hot tub, two kitchens, and a number of private areas. At the Bear Lake Lodge, you'll have full access to our 35-acre retreat... complete with picnic area, beach, trails, paddle boats, and waterfall!
Lake View Retreat - Overlooking the lake, this very secluded home offers the ultimate in privacy. The Lake View Retreat is the perfect Asheville cabins getaway for one to eight guests. Including two master bedroom suites, a large wrap-around deck with hot tub and grill, and surrounded by the trees.
Lake House - This hand-crafted log cabin sits on our beautiful mountain lake. Enjoy your morning breakfast on the lakeside deck and in the evenings, relax in the front deck's hot tub and watch the moon's reflection ripple over the lake. The master suite almost hangs out over the lake.
Bear Chalet - Sitting Lake Front with Dock and Paddle Boats - The newest addition to our lakeside cabins, the Bear Chalet has all the comforts that Saluda Mountain Lake Retreat is known for. A hot tub, three bedrooms, a warm, cozy fireplace, beautiful views, and much more await you in this quaint cottage.
All of our cabins near Asheville are equipped with whole house air purifiers.

In keeping with our desire to make your stay both memorable and unique, we have furnished the cabins with antiques, oriental carpets, oils by listed artists and memorabilia / collectibles. Enjoy fishing from one of the paddle boats or from the pier for an opportunity at large trout, bass, brim, crappie and catfish. Also, feel free to take a cool dip from our swimming platform, or just lie out on the white sandy beach.

The area is also sometimes called Ashville when looking for the right mountain cabin rental, but our courteous citizens will politely correct the improper ashville form with the right spelling: Asheville, NC.
